How to change the working directory

  1. Start in the upper part of the Main window

  2. Button Working In

  3. Type a directory name. A filename without any path probably means a directory in your home directory. But safer is to use the whole path.

    Tip: If you later finish your GCG session properly (that means with the button Exit, the new working directory will be remembered and will be automatically used the next time.
